Umbro 5's goes live with Cotech software
Umbro use Eventspace to capture online registration for nationwide five a side tournament.
Umbro 5's, the joint FA and Umbro national five a side competition, has gone live using Eventspace to capture on line registration and payments. Players can search the site to find the regional games closest to them and register and pay online. Traditionally each location was responsible for managing the sign up process and players had to work hard to establish the best place to play. Now, by having the information on one database it is easy to search for the perfect pitch and join the competition quickly. Umbro hope this online registration will mean more people get to play as teams can join at the touch of a button.
Umbro are also delighted by the simplicity and ease of control the Cotech software gives them. Hundreds of man hours have been saved by having a console that offers the ability to create new games, rearrange games and manage the registration process from one simple administration console.
